Laura did not set out to become a Physiotherapist. Her journey led her to Cornerstone after her undergraduate degree where she worked on our administrative team. After being exposed to the Cornerstone team, she knew that physiotherapy was her calling. She worked hard and gained admission to University of Toronto. After completing her training we could not wait to bring her back in her role as Physiotherapist. Her commitment to helping people is inspiring to everyone who works with her.
Laura is originally from Cobourg Ontario and has a borderline unnatural love of coffee. She is an accomplished athlete with competitive experience in martial arts, swimming and volleyball. Physical fitness has always been important to her. She trains with a combination of running, yoga, spinning and strength training. When you make an appointment with Laura, not only will you get amazing results, you will be entertained by her quirky sense of humour!

What Laura's patients say...
Laura is without a doubt the finest physiotherapist I have ever worked with. Her expertise, her positive and uplifting feedback at every improvement in the range of motion of my hand have enabled me to exceed my expectations of what I could accomplish. She’s also very knowledgeable and caring. If you’re looking for great care, I can’t recommend Laura enough.
What Laura's patients say...
Laura was outstanding. She had me feeling confident that I was going to be feeling better and that I was going to be doing the things I was normally doing before I injured my back. She took the time to explain how each exercise worked and the benefits of doing each. She made each visit feel like a personal experience. It is nice to have someone helping you who actually cares for what they are doing.

Laura, my physiotherapist is the best! I went to my first appointment with so much pain on my wrist, couldn’t even move it, rotate it. She took her time to listen, gave me great exercises to do (which I’m keeping for life!), explain why I was in pain, where it was coming from (not just my wrist but my arm/shoulder/neck areas). I’m now back to my old self :). I can’t thank her enough… I definitely recommend them!

A good Physiotherapist would have the skills and personality traits. Initiative, patience, sensitivity and tact. Laura Panta my physiotherapist has it all! Laura has the ability to be encouraging, empathetic and firm. I have been made to feel very welcomed and I could not have asked for better care. I would highly recommend Cornerstone to everyone. Friendly staff, and always happy to help and assist with any requests.

I am so *incredibly thankful* to have worked with Laura Panta over the course of my Golfers Elbow Rehab. Not only is she knowledgeable and well versed, she is also an amazing human being and very nice to talk with! I have gone to other clinics but they did nothing in comparison to all the hard work Laura put forth. I cant thank you enough* for all your help in my healing/strengthening process.
