Does Knee Bracing Really Help Osteoarthritis?

It is important to note that nothing can reverse the damage done by osteoarthritis. Bracing for this condition is not ‘curative’. Rather, it is used as a way to reduce symptoms. In fact, research shows that more than 70% of patients with knee arthritis report significant reductions in pain, despite taking less pain medication, and enjoying increased activity levels when using a custom knee brace.
