Registration

Janice is a Registered Physiotherapist who brings extensive clinical expertise, advanced academic training, and a deeply compassionate approach to patient care. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto, a Master of Arts in Adult Education from Central Michigan University, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan, where she earned the Dean’s Award. Guided by core values of integrity, respect, and lifelong learning, Janice partners closely with each individual to provide evidence-informed care focused on what matters most to their daily life. Her fascination with movement science began with early research exploring the link between exercise and memory, and she continues to find immense fulfillment in helping patients rebuild their confidence, independence, and physical capabilities. Beyond the clinic, she is also a passionate advocate for improving access to physiotherapy services for children and individuals in underserved communities.

Outside of her clinical work, Janice brings the same vibrant energy to her personal life and community. Raised in Southern Ontario after spending her early childhood in Texas, she is devoted to her family, cherishing quality time with her husband, their three adult children, and her three beloved grandchildren. She loves staying active outdoors through long nature walks, tennis, and embracing both the celebrations and frustrations of learning golf, alongside being actively involved in her local church. Janice openly admits that relaxing is a skill she is still working on, as she almost always has a home renovation, creative project, or travel adventure underway. At the top of her personal bucket list is cycling around Lake Constance through Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, taking in charming villages and scenic vineyards along the way.

“Clarity is kind,”  – popularized by Brené Brown in Dare to Lead. I love this simple reminder that being clear makes all the difference! It builds trust, takes away uncertainty, and helps everyone move forward with confidence.
