Karen’s patients benefit from her ability to make a meaningful connection with a wide variety of people. This connection serves as the foundation upon which she can understand the challenges they are facing and what is most important to them as individuals. In this way, she ensures that her approach to each patient is customized to their preferences and needs, increasing their chances of success. Karen has extensive experience assisting individuals facing chronic disease. She is familiar with the physical and psychological challenges patients encounter when a health crisis changes their lives. Her creativity and expertise combine to enrich her patients lives.

Karen’s family immigrated from Hong Kong but she was born and raised in Thornhill Ontario. She enjoys an active lifestyle of hiking, running and racquet sports. She has hiked the entire Bruce trail end-to-end (900 Km total!). She is a gardener, film buff and was once voted “Best Person to be Stranded With on a Desert Island”
