Riga is driven by passion for his profession and a genuine curiosity about his patients. He believes that to be a really excellent Physiotherapist requires creativity, empathy and outstanding communication skills. He embraces the role of Physiotherapist as a rehab coach and draws on his experience as an athlete and coach to ensure that his patients are informed, motivated and cared for.
Riga’s family immigrated from Tibet to Canada Via India. He was born in Toronto and grew up in the Beaches. He has been a competitive swimmer and still enjoys a variety of sports recreationally. He plays the guitar in a band and recently played a show at the Horseshoe Tavern! Ask Riga about the summer he spent in a Tibetan monastery!
