Alex loves to help her patients attain goals that initially seemed impossible. She works hard to understand each individual’s background and thus the context that their rehabilitation is taking place in. This ensures that her recommendations fit both their needs and lifestyle. Influenced early in life by witnessing her fathers recovery from spinal cord injury, Alex knows first hand what it takes to persist and ultimately triumph against difficult rehab challenges.
Alex grew up in Kingston, Ontario and has always been involved in athletics. She played varsity soccer and still enjoys hockey, running, rowing, field hockey, volleyball and skiing. She has run 5 half marathons! She has dreams of hiking the dolomites and skiing deep powder in Japan. Alex’s enthusiasm for a healthy and active lifestyle is contagious to all of her patients!
