Crystal Chan is a Registered Physiotherapist who approaches patient care with a foundation built on empathy, integrity, and growth. This core philosophy is evident in her commitment to truly listening to her patients, communicating with honesty, and continually seeking new knowledge to offer the best possible treatment. For Crystal, the most rewarding aspect of her profession is helping individuals regain confidence in their movement, allowing them to happily return to the activities they enjoy. Her dedication to excellence is highlighted by her former high-level athletic career in taekwondo, where she competed at the provincial, national, and international level. A notable highlight of her impressive athletic background includes representing Canada and achieving 5th place in the -46 kg category at the 2017 FISU World University Summer Games.

Outside of the clinic, Crystal pursues movement and adventure. Originally from Markham, Ontario, she is the proud daughter of parents who immigrated from Hong Kong. Her active lifestyle includes regular hiking, Pilates, and running, which has led her to successfully complete two half marathons in locations as diverse as Manchester, UK and Larnaka, Cyprus. Demonstrating her impressive adventurous spirit, Crystal recently completed a demanding cycling trip across the Alps, journeying from Munich, Germany to Lake Garda, Italy. Before her trip, she made a big checklist and even bought a couple of pairs of padded bike shorts to rotate. On the big day, she had everything she needed… except the shorts. Safe to say, she now understands why everyone kept recommending them!

Patients may be surprised to learn that she lived in Scotland for nearly five years, and she also loves to relax by quickly completing complex jigsaw and Sudoku puzzles. Looking ahead, her top bucket list item is to experience a safari in East Africa.
