Lisa Vogel brings a deeply empathetic and advocacy-driven approach to her clinical practice. Drawing on a foundational Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto and a wealth of advanced credentials, including the U of T IDEAS Advanced Learning Program and specialized Trauma Exposed Professionals Training through Wounded Warriors Canada. Lisa is dedicated to meeting patients exactly where they are. Her commitment to “Right Care at the Right Place” earned her the prestigious 2018 CGMH Board Award of Excellence, a testament to her skill in helping patients navigate complex health systems. A member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists with a certification in the Indigenous Canada Course, Lisa blends clinical expertise with a creative, collaborative spirit to help her patients overcome physical barriers and return to the activities that bring them meaning.

Outside of the clinic, Lisa is a proud “rural girl” at heart, originally hailing from Thamesville, Ontario, before settling in Collingwood nearly 30 years ago. As she and her spouse transition into life as empty nesters, she remains most proud of raising two kind, motivated, and “beautiful human souls.” Lisa lives the active lifestyle she encourages for her patients; you can find her strength training at the gym three times a week, hitting the ski slopes in the Rockies, or playing a competitive round of Pickleball. She is a lover of Georgian Bay summers, an avid gardener, and a surprisingly devoted Toronto Blue Jays fan (despite never actually playing baseball herself). Whether she’s dreaming of her bucket-list snorkeling trip to the Galapagos or capturing local scenery through her camera lens, Lisa’s approachable nature makes it easy for her to connect with patients from all walks of life—just don’t ask her to get in front of the camera, as she much prefers the view from behind it!
