Michele is a high-achieving clinician with a passion for what she does. She intentionally takes a ‘whole person’ approach to care, understanding the connection between mental well-being and physical rehabilitation. Her patients benefit from a unique combination of technical expertise, empathy, and understanding. She loves that her job gives her the chance to meet new people and help them in meaningful ways.
Michele was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. She moved to Kelowna with her family at the age of 12. She was a pre-professional ballet dancer until 17 years of age and still leads a very active lifestyle. Michele loves the diversity that Canada, and in particular, Toronto has to offer. Ask Michele about the time she tore her ACL rock climbing while she was in the middle of conducting research on ACL reconstruction!
